Nutrisal Powder

Description

Instructions for use
Nutrisal powder is used in dogs and cats to replace fluid and electrolyte loss, e.g. in connection with gastrointestinal disorders. If the dog or cat has diarrhea, they lose large amounts of fluid and are at risk of dehydration. In addition to water, the animal also needs electrolytes, which are found in the appropriate amount in Nutrisal. In the case of diarrhea, there is also reason to give the animal Aptus Attapectin tablets, which bind bacterial toxins and substances that arise during intestinal fermentation.
Fluid replacement in the form of Nutrisal electrolyte drink may also be needed after hard exertion or when the dog/cat has been exposed to high heat, e.g. in the car.

Dosage
A dose measure (25 g) of Nutrisal powder is mixed in 1 l of water or in food. Give the dog/cat free access to the Nutrisal drink so that it can drink as needed.

Packaging
Shelf life: 2 years from the date of manufacture.
Storage: At room temperature (15–25 °C), in a dry place. Store out of sight and reach of children.

Note
If the animal does not drink voluntarily, a clean plastic syringe can be used to give Nutrisal in the corner of the mouth, a little at a time. Make sure the animal swallows between the small doses and do not raise its head too high. If the animal does not improve, or if the condition worsens, a veterinarian must be contacted.
